*do not leave all folders visible* - put the setting back to invisible when you are done. If you select that and hit *apply*, the appdata folder should become visible. Open folder options, go to the view tab, in the advanced settings section there should be one that you can choose that says "show hidden files, folders, and drives" If you can locate the "folder options" control panel, you can change it temporarily. The "appdata" folder is probably set to "invisible" by default on your computer.
